Calling all teen drama fans, if you haven't watched it already then we have your new TV obsession. My Life With The Walter Boys dropped on Netflix last year and tells the story of Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez), who, after a devastating accident leaves her as an orphan, packs up her life in Manhattan and moves to rural Colorado where she moves in with her guardians, the Walters and their many children.
The 10-part series is based on Ali Novak's novel of the same name, which was originally published on Wattpad, and has everything you could want out of a teen series, we're talking a major love triangle and plenty of drama. Basically if you love The Summer I Turned Pretty, this needs to be next on your watch list.

When did My Life With The Walter Boys wrap filming for season 2?
Ok guys we're getting closer and closer to the release of season two as Netflix has officially confirmed filming has wrapped on the new season.
In a cute post shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) yesterday (18th November) Netflix shared two pictures of Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde and Ashby Gentry together at the farm house. In the post they also confirmed they had finished filming for the new season.
They captioned the exciting pictures: "MY LIFE WITH THE WALTER BOYS S2 HAS WRAPPED PRODUCTION."

When was My Life With The Walter Boys season 2 confirmed?
Good news My Life With The Walter Boys fans, the show has officially been confirmed for a second season.
On 19th December 2023 Netflix confirmed the exciting news sharing a video of main cast members Nikki Rodriguez, Noah LaLonde and Ashby Gentry receiving the exciting news from series creator Melanie Halsall.
In the clip the three can be seen crowding round a phone, and Melanie is speaking to them over the phone where she says, "I just wanted to let you know that we have been given the green light for a season two." Cue screams from everyone (us included).

What has the cast said about season 2?
After the release of season one, we caught up with Ashby Gentry, who plays Alex and he revealed what he hopes will happen for his character in season two.
Will Alex and Jackie be getting back together? Well when asked what his advice to Alex would be in season two, Ashby said to Cosmopolitan UK: "Do not go back to Jackie, Alex. Move on. Don't hold it against her, people make mistakes. I think holding her accountable and holding a grudge against her are two very different things."
As for whether Alex will be getting together with Kiley as hinted at at the end of season one, Ashby has some thoughts.
"He [Alex] doesn't deserve her yet," Ashby explained. "But I like them together. But he needs to be ready for her, because she deserves a better version of him and I do think that version of him is possible. I hope he ends up with Kiley, but not without a fight, he needs to fight for her."
Ok we're so ready for an Alex and Kiley season.
What might happen in My Life With The Walter Boys season 2?
Ok as we all know season one ended on a major cliff hanger, with Jackie seemingly heading back to New York with Uncle Richard and Danny. Is it just for the summer or for good? We're placing our bets season two will see Jackie return to Colorado and live with the Walters, but we won't know for sure until we hear more.
Ali Novak hasn't written a sequel to the original book which the series is based on so the show could go in a number of directions.
